Sascha Braunig

 

Sascha Braunig was born on Vancouver Island and currently lives and works in New York.
Her work uses beauty culture as the impetus for a hallucinatory masquerade; this project has
recently taken its form in drawings, sculpture, video and photography. She recieved a BFA from
The Cooper Union and in 2008 an MFA in painting from Yale University. Her work has been
included in exhibitions in New York, Chicago, and New Haven, and now Birmingham.
